Pop culture to you we bring.

Since 1996

Happy Birthday, Jurassic Park!

1993 - Life finds a way onto the big screen. Jurassic Park continues to amaze and fascinate its viewers 30 years later. Reason enough to throw the primeval lizards a proper birthday party at the Luxor Film Palace in Heidelberg.

However, before we start into the post-event reading, we want to congratulate a few other anniversaries from the year 1993, because not only Jurassic Park has left its mark until today.

Because 3 decades ago the internet was unlocked for the first time for the general public and the sugar among you most likely still have titles like "Secret of Mana" or "Doom" in their memory. And if the memories did fade a bit, then maybe it was because of the "great" music hits like "Rhythm Is a Dancer" and "Whoomp! (There It Is)". Well, that's just how the 90s were ;)

But now back to our birthday boy, which has aged much better than the music from the same year of birth. And speaking of age, we dare to suggest that many of us probably only saw the film in our living room at home back then, instead of on the big screen due to FSK12.

So it was only logical that we go to a cinema as the venue for the birthday party, to celebrate the 30 years of Jurassic Park in a fitting manner and to capture and relive the feeling of the original on the big screen.

With the Luxor-Filmpalast in Heidelberg, we had quickly found the right partner - modern cinema with enough space for over 300 enthusiastic lizard lovers.

But now a few pictures:

Thank you!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our spectators, partners and supporters who rocked the event. You are great!
